A Year-Round Creative Workshop Series
Ink Tank 8, a creative arts nonprofit and faith-inspired arts organization, is built around eight inspiring categories: scriptwriting, book writing, voiceover, photography, videography, children’s literature, music, and art.
Each category features rotating workshops and guest presenters who bring real-world inspiration and hands-on creativity to participants of all ages and experience levels, embodying our mission to inspire, create, and shine.
Are you a professional in one of these “Tank” topics? We invite you to teach or present a workshop — share your expertise and help inspire the next wave of creatives through storytelling through film and art or other mediums.
Want to make an impact another way?
You can also become an Ink Tank Sponsor and help provide resources, equipment, and opportunities that empower artists and storytellers to create and shine. This aligns with our vision, reflected in the Reel Ink Arts logo meaning, which symbolizes the journey of creativity.

🐙 Octopus – our creative spirit animal! Intelligent, adaptable, and endlessly resourceful. It can change colors to fit its surroundings—just as artists adapt to new ideas and challenges. It has eight arms working together, like our team, all moving in harmony to achieve a shared vision. It’s a master problem-solver, finding creative solutions under pressure, and symbolizes intuition and depth—reminding us that art comes from both the mind and the heart.
“The octopus reminds us that creativity flows in many directions — and when all arms work together, we can make something extraordinary.”
Founded by award-winning filmmaker and author Kerri Lane Mariano, Reel Ink Arts was born from a simple belief, that creativity rooted in goodness can change lives and bring hope to others.
